I had an Acer Chromebook (11") for over 5 years and I used that more than my laptop (which is now completely outdated). I was searching for something I could afford and really wanted the same brand as that worked so well for me before. I was lucky to find a "refurbished" one here and WOW. Works great, no problems, extremely happy with it.

If it is your first time getting a chromebook, do your research. I see a LOT of comments from people who are first time chromebook uses and giving low reviews because of thier own ignorance. This is WELL WORTH GETTING if you are looking for a chromebook for the first time, or a return user.

The setting stop getting updated in 06/2026. From past experience you can use it still for about 6 months before you will want to replace it.

I ordered a refurbished laptop from here 2 years ago and only the top keys didn't work, so I took it to the shop and paid $70 to have it fixed. But that laptop has since been broken, well the WiFi part. But when I saw this laptop I took a risk and brought it. It came fast and when I got it, set it up, it worked perfectly, even the number keys work, the screen quality was great and the you can charge it with a type C charger, same charger I charge my phone with. Would recommend but be wise about it since it's renewed.

Ive always spent $1000+ on computers, be they desktop or laptop. This time I decided I dont really need that much, browse the internet, stream movies and work on spreadsheets.

Ive only had this for 3 days but so far so good!

I think the screen/resolution/graphics are slightly wanting. The screen is really big, but you cant see very clearly from the side.

I was worried about having only 4GB of RAM but so far everything works efficiently.

The battery is awesome, but again Ive only had it for 3 days so I cant say how it will hold up over time.

Ive always used Windows, and my last computer was a hand me down Macbook from my daughter. This is my first experience with google/chromebook. I use a Galaxy phone though, so this has worked nicely in syncing things, and Ive been able to figure it all out pretty quickly. You might expect a learning curve however if youre not familiar.

Over all I bought this refurbished for $175 and I am completely satisfied! I highly recommend it as a budget (practically free!) laptop option!!

(This is posted on the day the item arrived at our home.) The laptop itself seems to be in good condition with no physical damage or hardware/software issues.

The downside on this review is that an undersized charger (15w instead of 20w) was sent with the laptop. Understandable that it wouldn’t be Acer brand (since it’s a renewed product), not so much that the charger isn’t strong enough to charge the laptop properly. (It will charge it…but when the battery gets super low it won’t be strong enough to sustain it and you will have downtime waiting for a charge.) Customer support bot said they cannot replace a part and the only solution would be to refund/replace the entire purchase. Considering our particular timeline we may just be forced to buy an extra charger. Mainly posting this review because I would have appreciated the heads up about the charger when I was purchasing…so maybe it will help someone else.

It’s a okay product but not worth the money . It’s not great for college students at all. Most school do not like chromebook. I tried downloading apps and it would not let me. great for house use only just the basic. Not the best and usually average is awesome. Not for me but maybe for someone else.

This thing is awful.
It won't let you download brave browser so you can block out ads and commercials on YT. This thing is designed by google chrome and it even has the logo on it. So that means they want you to suffer through the YT ads and you're going to like it.
And as if that's not bad enough, it's not compatible with paint.net. It has it's own crappy photoshop on here, which is a complete joke in comparison. Anyone that's bought a laptop that has those "built-in" features on here, knows what I'm talking about.
And the key pad on here, are ALL lower case letters. I have no idea as to why. Not only that, but there's no screen capture (SC) on here either. That's been replaced with the power button for some BS excuse.
And to put a cherry on top of this pile of $&!#, it doesn't even have a simple SD slot for it!
So now, it looks like I'll be stuck with this POS for 7 years. So do your research before you just look at the price and click the *cart* button.

First and last time buying a Chromebook. Chrome OS is VERY restrictive and the screen is washed out to an unacceptable degree. Everything on the screen is covered in a haze of white, making viewing images or watching videos a painful experience. If double the price is what I need to pay to feel like *I* own the device and not a company, and to have a functional screen, I gladly will.

I have. Never bought anything reburb or renewed. And I guess I found out why.
I bought this for my son for early Christmas gift. Now looks like I have to drive 2 hrs to him and get it and return it.
Unreal.

Product arrived same day, but its worthless. No instructions at all provided, I had to google on my phone how to turn it on. The power button is on the keyboard, just like a standard keypad button. Even after charging fully I always struggled to get the screen to come up, it felt like the power button did nothing. Returned asap.
