Love my new mac
I have never had a mac despite I am an Apple fan. I have an iphone user since 2008, have an ipad and an apple watch. I bought a mac last year for my daughter and she loves it. I do not have a personal computer, since I have my work laptop, I have been using my phone and my ipad. But then I thought, why not to try a mac?? So I started reading and learning about the different types of mac laptops. I decided to buy the mac 15” because Amazon offered a great deal during the Prime days, honestly I do not regret! The mac arrived on time, well packaged. I turned it on and the magic started! Very easy to set up, screen size is perfect for me, resolution is impressive and the sound is great. I am enjoying my mac so far! I truly recommend this item! If you are thinking in buying it, do not think too much and buy it!! Thank you Amazon!!!!
Truely Amazing - Love it
This is my 5th Mac, all previous ones served me well.
I did not restore from backup but started fresh.
Configuration went flawlessly during setup of many development and design tools, most being from GitHub were designed for intel not M2. It all just worked great!
The return of the Mag-safe power cord and removal of the unloved touch bar are a real plus.
Power consumption seems super low and it stays cool. This replaced a MACbook Pro with an I9 and extra GPU that was always hot and power hungry (HINT: keep wine glasses off the work table).
CONS: Only two USB-C ports - no big deal as I have a port ex-pander, if needed.
MacBook Pro Convert
I’ve always had a MacBook Pro because I thought the MacBook Air wasn’t as good. I have to say, that’s not the case anymore. This thing is fast, and the fluidity of utilizing other apple devices, like my iPad as a second screen, is just phenomenal. I upgraded from a MacBook Pro early 2015. While it was still working ok, I’ve started freelancing and needed something more reliable for my work. This thing delivers. And the screen is 15”! I was worried I would regret not going with the pro, but I have zero buyer’s remorse.
