I finally bought my first Apple MacBook Pro and I’m completely thrilled at all of the capabilities this machine has. It’s so sleek and epically cool. It’s a really amazing tool that I can see myself enjoying for a very long time. It has so many different options that just keeps you falling in love with it. I am so happy with my MacBook Pro. I thought it was going to be very difficult to use…. It was a piece of cake. It’s almost like using my iPhone, but instead it’s a 14inch screen with a scary speeds. You have to love everything there is about Apple products that makes them completely different from the other competitors. I’ve been an Apple girl since I made the transition from Android in 2017.

The Best just got better
I was on the fence replacing my late 2011 15 inch specced out (for the time) MacBook Pro retina. Sure I almost never used the cd/DVD slot or appreciate its hefty weight or its ploddingly slow HDD. But even though this seemed like a great piece of kit, I just couldn't justify $2k plus tax. So when Amazon decided to drop $500 off the retail price I've used my $450 in Amazon gift card balance and bought this bad boy for around $1,250 with tax included. Unless you're a serious power user even the base unit of this laptop is more than anyone would ever need in terms of raw power. Best screen on a laptop? Check Best speakers on any laptop? Check Best design? Best made SOC/software combo? Check. It's Faster than regular M2, better made than the Air or the 13 inch model all made this purchase a no brainer. This is easily the best laptop Apple has ever made. If you need a TOTL laptop, you've found it, if it's too pricey, save up or wait for a lightning deal, it's well worth it. Greatest upgrade ever.

Base model is better than you think
Thought I would regret getting the base model as I retouch photos and edit videos for a living; I do see where the more powerful models would improve performance but honestly diminishing returns would come in quickly. Not a single hiccup thus far in any of the apps I use daily: Capture One, Photoshop, FCPX and Resolve to name the main ones. I think a lot of people are fooling themselves thinking they "need" the higher specs. This is comfortably more powerful than the past Intel 16" models.

I'm in love all over again!
Let me start by saying I'm an Apple user all the way, iphone, ipads, and my last former PC was an 8 year old Macbook Air 13, mid-2013, 1.5GHZ dual-core Intel i5, 4GB RAM, 128GB Flash drive. That laptop still today is in great working order for what it is, I find that quite amazing since most of the PC products of recent are junk, designed to last less than one year. You may think me biased, but I'm not, just read the competitor's reviews for yourself which I did extensively before buying my next Macbook Pro. I used to be a Windows user, and still am, but not on a Windows based system with Intel silicon. Those systems are unstable, more hackable, and the hardware that is made even from manufacturers like HP today do not live up to the standards they lived up to in the past. Reading most of the different Apple product reviews, the biggest complaint was price. Well, the old adage still applies, you basically get what you pay for and I was thrilled to wait it out for their September event when I saw this going for $400 off at $1599!. Regarding all the hyperbole about the notch, I honestly do not know it is even there. As far as this new Macbook Pro 14" is concerned, well I cannot express how beautiful this laptop is. The display and sound are to die for, the speed of the m1 silicon is amazing. Yes, it's a little heavier than my previous Macbook Air 13, but the body of the Pro is actually a smaller footprint than it's predecessor, but with a larger display! What more can you ask for.
Now it's just a matter of how well this product survives the test of time. From it's solid construction and feel, I'm not at all worried I will not get another 8 years from this machine.

It’s a MAC
I made the switch to MAC about 20-years or so ago. Got tired of DOS and all the extra $$ programs. I do video and photo, amateur for sure, and Apple excels at this. Even makes a plod like me look somewhat good. My old Mac Book Pro is 11-years old and still going, but I thought I might treat myself. Amazing speed.

I love this laptop. It replaced an Acer aspire 5 slim, which was quite heavy, and had a battery that lasted five hours. In power saver mode. It was only two years old and rarely used until I started a new job and school. I had my MacBook going from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM pretty much consistently, and it still had 55% battery life. Because I have an iPhone, I can make calls and send texts with it. My iPad can be used for sidecar, which is basically wireless screen mirroring, allowing me to have a portable second monitor. The mac doesn’t skip a beat- I can leave it closed overnight, and everything is exactly the same the next morning without crashing or reloading. It’s not at all heavy, and the size is exactly what a laptop should be. The Mac OS not supporting steam titles thing isn’t a huge deal- If I want a gaming machine, I have a desktop. For getting things done, this is an absolutely perfect daily driver, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. My one gripe is lack of USB-A ports, but I’ll buy an adapter and move on with my life. Overall, try a MacBook Air… You’ll like it.

The Best Laptop I have ever owned coming from a windows person
This thing is amazing. I have owned several windows gaming laptops and this is hands down the best laptop I have ever purchased. The build quality is amazing, the chassis, hinge, keyboard, and mousepad all feel very high quality. the laptop is light and easy to carry around. The battery lasts what feels like a lifetime. The computer does not get hot at all (even after some heavy video editing and transcoding). Apple has truly made the best laptop on the market. Now to the negatives: I have read that the OS excessively uses virtual memory to speed up the system. After doing some initial tests I can confirm that this is true. What does this mean? this means that the Internal SSD might not last as long as it should because of the excessive write and read to the Solid state drive. I don't know I this is by design or what but it definitely feels kinda crummy for Apple to do this. I would still recommend this computer to anyone needing a laptop for school, creative work, or just general use. Buy it you won't regret it.

Smooth experience. Top build quality
I got it as a gift for my wife and she loves it. Though I'm not into the Apple eco, I am really impressed by the build, popping screen, and sleekness. I guess those are the general expectations.
If Linux is not a must for you, I really recommend you go for the Macs.

Smells like a damp, musty basement
Not sure where these laptops were stored but the musty smell was overpowering when I opened up the box. The main culprit was the power cord. I went online to find a solution and found multiple complaints about this model’s cord. LOVE the computer….hate the cord smell. Luckily it stays charged so long that I can put it in another room to charge every 3rd day.

Fast!
I’ve been wanting to switch from my pc. Everything else I own is Apple. When the prime day price popped up I couldn’t resist. It is definitely a learning curve but fairly easy to get used to. As far as I can see I don’t need to add any programs. I was able to migrate everything from my PC and this baby is FAST!

Amazing Student Laptop
I’ve only been using my MacBook Air for a few weeks now but it’s already the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. I was debating getting either a windows or an apple computer and decided in the end to get this MacBook Air. The screen itself is amazing and I love how smooth the keyboard types. And as someone who has a phone and an iPad it’s so convenient having all my devices synced up. Highly recommend!

Perfect laptop!
My husband got me this laptop for my bday and I absolutely love it. I had an HP laptop before this and the battery life sucked but with this laptop my battery lasts for hours without needing to be charged and I’m always so happy about it. It’s also a beautiful laptop I love the color of it I always feel so fancy. The touch screen feature is an added bonus and throw away your stickers because this laptop provide a slider where you can literally slide it over to hide your camera lens. I would 10/10 recommend this laptop to anyone.

Lover this little touch screen laptop
For the price it has an amazing amount of features. The keyboard is really nice, as are all the other features. I basically use it like a tablet so I am not worried about it being able to run a bunch of complex business software. It handles my requests extremely well. And it is really light and very classy looking!

Solid machine. Punches above its weight.
Bought this for my son to use for his academics and it is a solid machine. No hang-ups, quite fast, smooth action, crystal clear screen resolution ... this machine is good! I will be ordering this for the persons in my office for field and desk use ... we've struck gold with this machine!

Mcafee is not my friend
I really like my new Lenovo laptop. I do, however have a complaint. There was a Mcafee icon on my screen when I received it and after about 9 days it activated and sent a huge warning screen of viruses I had on my computer and the immediate need to resolve them. I spent at least 4 very stressful days working on this to find out Mcafee is not compatible with Windows S mode and had no reason to be there at all. The availability of info to clear this up was not good, I finally got in touch with Microsoft and they rectified the problem. Even after I uninstalled Mcafee I still kept getting the warning screens every minute or two. These were sales tactics and very disturbing to me. Otherwise, everything is great, just about 4 very stressful days and a lot of my time wasted trying to clear this up.

Exactly what I needed
I am one who will buy a product based on reviews and all of the reviews here were giving this chrome book such high praise, I figured it’d be worth a shot.
What did I need? Something slim, lightweight, easy to transport, something with speed and CHEAP.
I was in desperate need of a new laptop b/c mine is a dinosaur, very clunky and sloooow. Being in school is what really got me looking and trying to save up for a MacBook was never going to happen on my student budget. This little Lenovo chrome book is quick, sleek, and slim. And most of all, only $100. No touch screen but the battery life is incredible. I use it a few hours every day and only have to recharge it every 3-4 days. I use this chrome book for Google docs, internet surfing/research and e-mail. With that being said, I’m not using much storage so I can’t speak to that.
GREAT buy as it was everything I needed for an unbeatable price.

I got a replacement and it's exactly what I wanted! Lightweight and the learning curve isn't so bad if you've never used a chromebook before, it only took me a few days to get used to it. It's very different from a normal computer and only good for light browsing and writing, I also got a large micro sd card for storage since it's barely got any, but I love it!

OLD REVIEW:
The laptop itself is adorable, I love the look and feel of it, but I was either sent a broken computer or it was broken by the postal service handling it too roughly. It booted quickly, at least, so my disappointment was immediate. :(

I've put in for a replacement, so I'll be updating my review once that one arrives in two days.

Nice little laptop for my needs on the go needs!
I was curious about Chromebooks & wanted to give one a shot. I looked this one over, and Alice helped me with questions I had. (She was great BTW).

I'm really enjoying this little Chromebook. It's lightweight, has crazy battery life (about 10 hrs). I'm still learning all that Chromebooks can do, but it was definitely worth the purchase. 2 Thumbs WAY UP! :)

Oldie but goodie
Chromebooks have a life cycle of 8 years - this one was made in 2020, so it has about 6 or so years of support left. I didn't care and all I wanted was something small and light so I could write on my bed. I don't mind that it's a chromebook - in fact, this is my first chromebook and I'm in love. I'm planning to get another one for Black Friday if the price is good enough, because I love this one so much (I[m planning to have an indoor chromebook and an outdoor chromebook). The screen is a bit iffy, but it's good enough. I use this one more than I do my $700 tablet. I don't do anything heavy with it, so this is perfect for my needs.

Great little Chromebook for the money
I was shocked at how snappy and decent this little Chromebook is. For the price you really can't beat it. My Father's Acer R-13 stopped working so I ordered this one for him. It setup immediately and even recognized his USB dock which allowed him to connect wireless mouse, keyboard and speakers. This is a great deal. I'll update if he runs into any issues with it in the future, but so far it's a 5 star winner.

I felt I was scammed
This item stopped working 4 1/2 months after purchase it is not powering on,even when you have the power cord plugged in this is not value for money at all the seller is very slow in response, Amazon swear by thes refurbished items this is how I was duped.

Great laptop! Loved how it flipped into a tablet. Used it mainly for my business an my kids. That was until someone stole it not even a month after getting it. Smh. Wish there was a way to get a replacement or something conserdering I paid for coverage but other than that it was a great laptop for the time I had it.

Impressed with this little Chromebook
All this Google Chrome/Chromebook stuff is new to me - when I was in school, Google was barely a search engine. When I started back to college, a small computer that could go to classes with me seemed like a good idea. I've worked with Microsoft since '91 when my family got their first computer with those big 5"+ floppy disks, so switching to a new operating system - even though only while I'm at school - was going to be a change. I spent weeks looking at different Chromebooks online from different sellers trying to decide what would work best for me. I knew I wanted a 2-in-1 Touchscreen (I had one before and I loved it), and I knew I wanted at least 4GB memory. This Dell had that. I was a little leery of it being "Renewed", but I gotta say, it hasn't given me a bit of trouble. It's the perfect size for transporting around campus with a backpack full of books. It has Google Docs and Slides, which I need for school, so that works perfectly for getting my schoolwork done. The 2-in-1 aspect makes it perfect for doing Google Slides presentations because I can set it up like a tent or just hold it in tablet mode and see what I need to say while facing my classmates instead of looking at the screen behind me with my back to the class. It boots up fast and shuts down fast, and unlike the Dell I have for home with MS Windows, it actually connects to the internet at school. I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase. (And my mom loves the bubble wrap it came in!)

Like brand new - and so affordable!!
My college granddaughter‘s chrome book finally bit the dust. But I couldn’t afford to buy her a brand new laptop, so I looked on Amazon for refurbished chrome books and there were so many to choose from. I happen to like Dell which is why I chose this one. She is delighted with it! Not a single issue and she just loves it!

Perfect for my granddaughters!
These worked out perfectly for my two preschool aged granddaughters to play their games and browse YouTube Kids ®.
The sealed keyboard has already proven to be a winner after having a cup of juice dumped on one of them.
The touchscreen and voice search are great for young ones that can't actually type yet.

Speedy chromebook
I enjoy using this chromebook. I had to order two, as my first was defective, but the second arrived from the vendor TekZilla working perfectly. I find the battery life amazing, and am always fascinated at how easily my kids can access their school accounts curated exactly as the school admin intends. It's really easy. It will not work as a server, gaming platform, or family entertainment center, but it's not supposed too. However, I am a fairly sophisticated user, and I can (and do) figure out how to do most of my computing on a chromebook. Kids love it. Don't use the play store for things you can do just as well in a browser, utilize cloud and/or flash storage, and your memory usage will be fine.

Great Buy For Excellent Computer!
I have used Chromebooks for business for the last 10 years or so and this one does not disappoint. As described it starts up fast and quickly jumps online. I have used this brand before with no problems. In fact, I have had 2 other Chromebooks and used until they were no longer supported by Google. I like having everything available online. It immediately accessed my files and links with log-in and password information intact. My previous Chromebook had a larger screen, but oddly, I prefer the smaller one for better portability. I am well pleased and plan on using this until expires in another 5 years or so! I certainly do not miss the slow boot-ups and file updates of a PC.

Love this!
I have a desk top and a larger Chromebook. This smaller one goes with me everywhere. It is so lightweight that I can put it in a tote bag and have it on hand when I need it. It's easy to use and when watching videos, the picture is fantastic. (My cat loves watching bird videos on it, too.) I bought this on a whim because of the low price, but would buy it again because it is such a good product.

A Very Good Chromebook
This is a very good chromebook. It's lightweight with a good battery life. It does what I need it to.

It gave the option to rate the touch screen feature, but I haven't noticed that this one is a touch screen. I tried and it doesn't seem to work, so I rated it 1/5 stars, but I didn't expect it to be a touch screen, since I wasn't looking for one.

Fast, light and easy to use. Excellent buy.
I was surprised by how solid the construction seems. But of course you have to take into account the fact that this was originally a $300 mid-price model. Chrome was super easy to setup and even transferred my apps from my phone. I installed a micro SD card and that adds plenty of extra on board storage. Just be sure to format the card after installation. Then you have to power down and back up for the computer to recognize the card. I connected a bluetooth mouse and that works great. Even the scroll bar on the mouse works. I'm not someone who needed another computer but I'm happy I bought this one. The screen is bright and detailed. Colors look good. It is rated to be able to be dropped 4 feet but don't try it just to see. Just know that it is rugged. The cover has a nice ribbed texture and the bottom has two raised rubberized risers with the rear one being a little larger. Overall you can't go wrong here. Just know the limitations of a Chromebook which are few and you are good to go.

Good Chromebook for the Price
This was purchased during the Amazon early access sale. It's a great basic, no frills Chromebook for the price. My daughter just needed something to apply for jobs and surf the net on. Google apps work great, and so far no issues at all.

Really fast laptop at a decent price..
I have a MacBook Pro 2017 fully loaded.. 16gb ram, 512 SSD, 4 USB-C Thunderbolt ports and Touch Bar.. this MacBook Air blows it away !! And it's the base model ! 8Gb and 256 SSD.. I am going to pass down my MacBook Pro or sell it.. these new M1/M2 Macs are way faster than the intel versions.. I sat them side by side and ran the same programs.. the MBA 2022 beat the MBP 2017 every time.. That's not saying the MBP is not a great computer I used it for 5 years. I even now it is a great computer for pro tasks.. because it is very cheap.. you can buy my 2017 on Amazon for about $450.. ya that's right.. and I took the $150 discount on Amazon for the new MBA.. It was well worth it.. this sucker is fast !! You can get a 30 day return policy from some vendors,, I suggest you try it if your not a supper power user.. and you will have the latest M2 chip and OS! Apple will eventually drop the intel compatibility to move forward.. it could be next year or 3 years,. but they will move forward.. Oh my wife still uses a 2013 MBP 15 inch.. ya they last that long.. I am giving her my MBP 2017 so she can have the new OS Ventura..

Upgraded from Air 2015 i5 to Air 2022 M2
I purchased this Air M2 from Amazon using Affirm monthly payments. I had to pay a small upfront down payment and now $50 a month for 24 months. That made it possible for me to do this without having to make the larger purchase. Datavision, the NYC based distributor shipped it quick and painless and now I'm enjoying the upgrade from a 2015 Air i5 processor to a 2022 Air M2...what a difference. Completely satisfied!

Surprising powerful machine
I'm a grad student studying Data Science, and this laptop is outperforming my older macbook pro. Prior to owning this laptop, I owned a Macbook pro 2020 (intel) with 16gb of RAM. I was a little hesitant to get a 8gb macbook air at first because I was afraid of the laptop not being able to handle intensive processing. Luckily, I've had not issues with it throttling under load. I've had pcs that only had 8bg of ram and they'd struggle with multiple chrome tabs. This macbook air is able to handle multiple tabs of chrome while training a machine

Beautiful, thin, light, state of the art M2 chip midnight MacBook is one of my best purchases ever. My son wanted one for college and I told him I could get him an Intel based laptop with the same power for much less money. He got a MacBook and he was right. Forward thinking. I was afraid of the jump from intel to something I wasn’t familiar with. 15 minute set up and it took all of my contacts, news, emails, bookmarks and pictures from my IPhone 10 X Max over WiFi. Added an 8-1 hub, a mouse and Microsoft Office Home and Business 2021 lifetime license ($35) for less than $100. Love this thing and won’t look back. Not a techie nor early adopter. People claim they’re good for 10 years. Take a leap!

Amazing battery life backed up by an amazing hardware experience
I got the base 256GB 8GB of ram model and this thing does everything I need it to and more. I consider myself fairly tech savvy, so when I heard all the controversy surrounding this model and its slower SSD, I was a little hesitant. After realizing what I wanted to do with the computer, this become a non-factor. I mostly do school (computer science) a little bit of rendering for my 3d printer and some very light gaming. The SSD has never been an issue in my day to day. If you are editing photos or access large files that will need to be read or written to often, maybe go to the 512GB model to get the faster SSD. If you are not working in CAD or video/photo editing all the time you will not care I promise. The rest of this machine has astounded me. 18 hours of battery life is not just marketing, the speed of the M2 is snappy and can handle much more than I thought it would. The new screen is gorgeous. Trackpad is the best on the market bar none. The keyboard is the best keyboard I have ever felt on a laptop and is an absolute joy to type on. MagSafe is back and amazing as before. Probably my favorite thing about this laptop, coming from a Windows gaming laptop is the lack of a fan. You will lose a little performance, but not having that noise is absolutely astounding. Cannot recommend this thing enough. Great job Apple.

I thought it was a great laptop for its price but I got it for streaming obs and I didn’t realize that obs is not compatible with chromebook so I am returning sadly. I definitely didn’t know how to right click on this kind of pad, so if anyone is wondering, you tap the right side of the pad one single time with your index fingers in case I’m not the only one and I hope I’m not lol overall if I could have used this for what I bought it for I feel like it’d be a steal. It’s not a slow computer, the screen quality is honestly better than I thought it’d be for it being as cheap as it is but it’s not like it’s top notch quality of course just better than I personally expected, battery life is great and it’s definitely lightweight. I love that a case was included as well.

For the price, does what it needs to do...
I realized the majority of my laptop needs came down to access to the Internet for checking email, paying bills online and internet surfing and research. This Chromebook is spot on! Good battery life - just don't go to Win11
For the money this is a great buy. Don't expect too much. I made the mistake of upgrading to Win11 and lost about 5GB of built-in hard disk space (so now I'm down to 25GB). That's not a prob for me since I never keep anything critical on my built-in HD anyway - nor should you :) BTW I always use an external keyboard + mouse (consider a USB hub that will cost you all of $10 I DO appreciate the 2 built-in USB ports.

Size matters
This has got to be the best computer deal I have purchased!!!! The 14inch screen is great and the size and weight of the computer is amazing. Super fast response, graphics are great and is easily storable!!! Great buy for the money. I will be buying two more for my kids!!

Good laptop for web surfing and youtube
It is a good laptop for light tasks: office, web surfing, watching videos. Not for more. No coollers = no noise. CPU is weak and after first loading you need few hours to update the system. After this it works good. Laptop has NVMe M2 port inside for adding additional ssd disk. You can not upgrade anything else.

Works great for FreeCad and Lightburn
I bought one to use for my laser and it is just what I wanted! Does the job well and battery life is pretty good for a long burn. It’s super compact and light to take anywhere for those quick spur of the moment graphic ideas and get those ideas on the screen. It’s all solid state and runs pretty cool. No mechanical hard drive that would eventually fail. Boot up is also quick not allot of un-necessary software adds to slow it down. The screen comes up clean ready for you. Speakers are pretty decent with the sound coming from underneath the computer. I didn’t buy it for games so nothing to say about that.

I finally bought my first Apple MacBook Pro and I’m completely thrilled at all of the capabilities this machine has. It’s so sleek and epically cool. It’s a really amazing tool that I can see myself enjoying for a very long time. It has so many different options that just keeps you falling in love with it. I am so happy with my MacBook Pro. I thought it was going to be very difficult to use…. It was a piece of cake. It’s almost like using my iPhone, but instead it’s a 14inch screen with a scary speeds. You have to love everything there is about Apple products that makes them completely different from the other competitors. I’ve been an Apple girl since I made the transition from Android in 2017.

The Best just got better
I was on the fence replacing my late 2011 15 inch specced out (for the time) MacBook Pro retina. Sure I almost never used the cd/DVD slot or appreciate its hefty weight or its ploddingly slow HDD. But even though this seemed like a great piece of kit, I just couldn't justify $2k plus tax. So when Amazon decided to drop $500 off the retail price I've used my $450 in Amazon gift card balance and bought this bad boy for around $1,250 with tax included. Unless you're a serious power user even the base unit of this laptop is more than anyone would ever need in terms of raw power. Best screen on a laptop? Check Best speakers on any laptop? Check Best design? Best made SOC/software combo? Check. It's Faster than regular M2, better made than the Air or the 13 inch model all made this purchase a no brainer. This is easily the best laptop Apple has ever made. If you need a TOTL laptop, you've found it, if it's too pricey, save up or wait for a lightning deal, it's well worth it. Greatest upgrade ever.

Base model is better than you think
Thought I would regret getting the base model as I retouch photos and edit videos for a living; I do see where the more powerful models would improve performance but honestly diminishing returns would come in quickly. Not a single hiccup thus far in any of the apps I use daily: Capture One, Photoshop, FCPX and Resolve to name the main ones. I think a lot of people are fooling themselves thinking they "need" the higher specs. This is comfortably more powerful than the past Intel 16" models.

I'm in love all over again!
Let me start by saying I'm an Apple user all the way, iphone, ipads, and my last former PC was an 8 year old Macbook Air 13, mid-2013, 1.5GHZ dual-core Intel i5, 4GB RAM, 128GB Flash drive. That laptop still today is in great working order for what it is, I find that quite amazing since most of the PC products of recent are junk, designed to last less than one year. You may think me biased, but I'm not, just read the competitor's reviews for yourself which I did extensively before buying my next Macbook Pro. I used to be a Windows user, and still am, but not on a Windows based system with Intel silicon. Those systems are unstable, more hackable, and the hardware that is made even from manufacturers like HP today do not live up to the standards they lived up to in the past. Reading most of the different Apple product reviews, the biggest complaint was price. Well, the old adage still applies, you basically get what you pay for and I was thrilled to wait it out for their September event when I saw this going for $400 off at $1599!. Regarding all the hyperbole about the notch, I honestly do not know it is even there. As far as this new Macbook Pro 14" is concerned, well I cannot express how beautiful this laptop is. The display and sound are to die for, the speed of the m1 silicon is amazing. Yes, it's a little heavier than my previous Macbook Air 13, but the body of the Pro is actually a smaller footprint than it's predecessor, but with a larger display! What more can you ask for.
Now it's just a matter of how well this product survives the test of time. From it's solid construction and feel, I'm not at all worried I will not get another 8 years from this machine.

It’s a MAC
I made the switch to MAC about 20-years or so ago. Got tired of DOS and all the extra $$ programs. I do video and photo, amateur for sure, and Apple excels at this. Even makes a plod like me look somewhat good. My old Mac Book Pro is 11-years old and still going, but I thought I might treat myself. Amazing speed.

I received my MacBook Pro two weeks ago and am totally blow away. I had been using a 2015 15in MacBook Pro. This thing is a rocket. Long battery life, ease of and I love the Touch ID. I saved $400 with the sale price. It is all good.

Love this laptop
I liked this laptop because I was looking for something small but powerful to travel with. It is perfect and I like Windows11. The plus for me is it had an hdmi slot sling with a usb slot. Prefect for me. You have easily get it out of S mode to install the other programs you use.

This is the ideal travel computer for me.
Super lightweight. The matte screen is ideal for viewing in bright light. In spite of the haters, this device is quick enough for complex PowerPoint with embedded video. The microSD slot is a real plus. I've added 128 Gbytes and can store everything I need. Full size HDMI port works great for presentations; too many tiny computers require an adapter. It's true I've only had it for a day but this is a dandy solution for travel and I'm a Mac guy. I already had a bluetooth mouse and I recommend such for efficiency; I don't like touchpads.

I hope everyone noticed that a lot of the negative reviews came from people who failed to note the size before buying and they give a 1 star review. By the way, I bought mine from Amazon and got it the same day I ordered it.

So I had to buy a new lap top 4 my niece who's leaving 4 college in September. I did my research very detailed.
This had exactly what I was looking for Windows 11, etc light weight, easy to put it in her bag and go to class. Also loved the warranty on it and I hot it for a price a lot less than I expected.

It is so cool to have it!
What I like about it is because it’s got iTunes, Disney+ and other cool features on it. What I dislike about it is because my mom named my C Drive incorrectly by spelling my name in a short way and with a lowercase letter at the start of it instead of doing it properly the correct way. It was another one of my birthday presents that I’ve bought for myself!

So happy I switched to this Chromebook.
I was strictly a Windows guy but when the system would slow down it was a pain. I had considered getting a chromebook in the past but being it was not a computer I stopped my research early. This time I watched youtube reviews on this Lenova and learned that it can do just about everything a computer can do through the apps and for about 40% less then a laptop computer. Lightning quick is what I tell people when I talk about my new purchase. I'm glad I followed through on my research this time.

Delayed Deliverey
The laptop itself is perfect. I just didn’t think it was ever going to get delivered after being delayed for 2 weeks. Moving forward, I bought this for my son on prime day. It’s was super affordable and I still can’t believe the price was only $300. I will say I did see that the prices increased by a $110 that same day. They must have sold pretty damn good during the sale. Overall, my son loves it and he was so damn excited to finally get it in his hands. Again great buy.

Perfect for students!
Make sure you sign in with a gmail account to use all of the devices features like the google play store. Only gripe I have is a low battery life. Other than that this is the perfect tool since all of my school courses use google as their main communication and office/suite programs. Also the perfect device to use leisurely watching Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, you name it. Plan to upgrade to an even better version one day!

Perfect for college - Keyboard lights up
This is the perfect Chromebook for a college student. It is lightweight, with a lighted keyboard to use during the dark. I got this to replace the other Chromebook I have used for five years and it is magnificent. It is not as light weight as described but the heaviness does add to its durability. So far, 10/10. I would reccomend it.

Great Chromebook for 2nd machine
I use a Chromebook as a 2nd machine to look things up for: game issues, random YouTube videos, or watch Twitch streams. I used a C330 before and upgraded to this model and I am very happy with the upgrade. Having a full 1080P screen and good speakers was a good upgrade for what I needed. I have been playing with the Linux side too and using it to help maintain some systems in my network without having to start a VM on my main computer. If you are looking for a good starter Chromebook I would recommend this. It's a good cost effective Chromebook that does what it needs to do and comes it in at a good price.

Good Choice for Anyone Looking for an Affordable Chromebook
Quick and responsive Chromebook, replaced a $150 Acer 11" Chromebook that was about 6 years old and now out of updates, OMG what a night and day difference, glad i made the purchase.

Screen is definitely a step up from the ones you'll see on entry level Chromebooks like the one i upgraded from, fit and finish seem decent so far after a month of owning it. Battery life will run for about 7-8 hours with screen at 75% brightness while doing normal stuff from full battery charge. Keyboard is alright, I like clicky ones on my desktop, but i realize your not going to get that experience out of a 3 lb Chromebook. Don't use the touch screen much but it seems decent in the couple of times I've played with it, I plan on giving one of these to my digital art loving daughter at Christmas and we'll see what she says about the touch screen. It doesn't scream premium like the $1,000 Chromebooks but at this price $300 I don't have to worry about something happening to it and I get 75% of the performance of those high end machines at 30% of the price. Reports updates until June 2029.

Weight is PERFECT
Great price and absolutely perfect for our needs. We particularly enjoy the feather-weight of this laptop. Easy to move from desk to living room couch. Holds a charge for several hours, as well, so we don't need to move the charging cord around. We wondered if the screen size would be too small, but it is perfectly comfortable. All around, a great choice for routine household use.

Lightweight and easy to use.
I am extremely pleased with my laptop! It does everything I need it too do from invoices to social media and emails. It is so easy to use even for someone whose not computer savvy. The laptop works alot better than I thought. Very lightweight and so easy to transport and I got it at a great price. I would highly recommend.

Value Can't Be Beat
When I read the specs on this computer, I couldn't believe it. I was getting a real computer for the price of a Chromebook. It was a deal too good to pass up. If I was disappointed, I wouldn't have 800 to a thousand dollars tied up in it.
I've had it for about a month now and thee only negatives I can find are a somewhat sketchy cursor controller. I read a professional review before ordering and that reviewer attributed it to the touchpad and when I used the touchpad when I first got it I noticed that the cursor would suddenly, for no apparent reason dart to one of the corners of the screen. I have since connected a wireless mouse to the computer and the cursor still sporadically and without warning races to a corner. Since it is easily recovered it is only a minor annoyance. The only other issue is with the maximum volume of the speakers -- there really is no "max." With the volume on max you can hear videos etc. but only just. If there is any other source of sound in the room you will have to mute it to hear everything. Overall, I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a good personal computer at a bargain basement price point.

This laptop is enough for me
Because of my work, I need a portable laptop, and it fits my needs. And its hardware configuration can basically cope with the use of my work. At the beginning, I noticed that the CPU usage was too high, sometimes reaching 100%, but I found out that it was caused by the Windows 10 update, After the update was completed, the CPU usage returned to normal. Another point is that the wireless network card of this laptop is a little unstable, but fortunately, the router in the office is relatively close to me. Therefore, in general, this is a laptop with a good price/performance ratio, and it is enough for my work.

It's not the greatest computer ever...but it works for what I need.
My wife needed a simple laptop to work from home. She needed it to run MS Office, access websites, and send email. This does all of that. It does it well if a little slow. This is a dual core CPU with integrated graphics, so if you are looking for HDR and 4K this is not the one for you.

Definitely worth it.
So far I have had no complaints. It was very easy to set up. The battery life is more than adequate. The biggest thing for me was only adjusting to the operating system. Until now, I have only used windows laptops for the last twenty plus years. Before that I had an Apple. It's been easy so far, though I still have difficulties with right-clicking with the trac-pad. I have easily avoided this by using a wireless mouse.

GREAT upgrade from tablet for my kids, first Chromebook
I did a lot of research as to what to get for my kids to replace their aging and damaged Samsung Tab A's. We decided that it was time to go to a Chromebook so that they could get more repetition with a standard keyboard and GoogleOS. They are still able to download all the PlayStore apps that they had on their tablets, but now with better hardware and longer support.
This model has 64GB of storage (with SD card option), so thats a huge upgrade. The RAM is 4GB, which is more than most cheap tablets these days, and you can tell. Its a LOT snappier than the Galaxys.
The 2in1 flip with the screen is my kids favorite part! They can use it like a "real computer" and then flip it to make a huge tablet screen instead. Much bigger than the 8" screen they had before.
For an entry level chromebook, these are sturdy, snappy, and cheap! I dare you to find something better for preteens at this price point!
NOTE: some of the reviews here complain about the speaker quality/power. This was one of the only things I was weary about when I finally committed to this unit. Those reviews are DEAD WRONG. The speakers are GREAT on these Chromebooks. The quality is clear, and they are louder than both of my other laptops and tablets. Playing videos through YouTube at 1/2 volume is much louder than the max of my other units. Don't let the "terrible speaker" reviews sway you.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AND EASY
I wanted to get a new table to play games through google play store. Much to my surprise this is a computer and tablet all in one. Set up in minutes and away I was playing my games. Can't beat the price and/or the product. I am do please with this purchase!!!!!

Very Efficient Laptop For Its Price
This chromebook is very much worth the money, I bought it for college and it has been very quick and hasn’t had any performance issues. I highly recommend this laptop to any upcoming college students who need a reliable device for taking notes and doing classwork.

Great value
This is a solidly built chrome book. If you need a computer to email, go on the internet, stream movies...just regular things...you will not be disappointed. It is a touch screen, and the resolution is excellent. It can easily handle spread sheets etc, and other work related items. It is a 360 which I find very useful when flying...I don't think you are going to find a better 360 swivel with touch screen in this price range. Battery life is as advertised. I am very happy with this purchase. It is a chromebook...which I happen to like. It does give you access to the Google play store.

Does everything I wanted to do
I bought this to replace an old windows laptop. Was a little reluctant I love using my phone but I didn't know if the Chromebook would do the things that I wanted it to do. But I was pleasantly surprised I can play videos use my Amazon prime Netflix browse the web basically anything that I can do on my phone. I would recommend this to anybody it is the perfect replacement for an old windows that did not stream correctly could not handle bandwidth any and all of the above. There's only two things I'm not thrilled about the quality of the video is very good not high def but not garbage either. The only thing that I really have an issue with is I wanted to use a computer and or Chromebook but I did not want to have all the links to my Google account and when I did set it up I set it up to sync which was a mistake. Other than that I would definitely look to buy another Chromebook of any type in the future.

Ok, I get it.
I'm running excel, word, google drive, meet, etc. I was worried whether I'd made the wrong decision to go to a MacBook from PC. Wow, so far I am so happy with my decision. Worth the money. It does everything and just works and is a little bit snobbish about it. From a ford to a mazerati. Wow!

Very powerful CPU!
I use this MacBook Pro M2 for music creation and it really surprised me with how much faster and responsive it is compared to my 2017 Intel based MBP. The single external monitor support kind of surprised me but it gave me a good excuse to get a nice LG 4K Ultrafine 32" monitor. Really loving this setup!

Love my macbook
I used a macbook for my college years but once the screen broke I replaced it with windows. Going back to MacBook has been such a nice change, I can text from my laptop and the integration between phone and laptop is very convenient.

Jumped ship from Windows!
From PC Guy to MAC Guy! The jump was much easier than I thought. Thank goodness there’s a MAC version of all the software I used in the PC world. Worth every penny!
I've been using Chromebooks for the past few years and finally decided to get a Mac. This machine does everything I need and much more. It was worth the money. It doesn't have a touchscreen but the touchpad does everything you need. And it's incredibly fast. It has so many features on it, and I've found it very easy to use and to learn.

Great general purpose laptop
This is the 4th one of these that I've bought! With it being all solid state, battery life is excellent. Startup is very fast. I've added a second SSD to two of them with no problems. It even comes with the necessary hardware to add it. It's not fast enough for intensive gaming but plenty fast for games like Minecraft, which the kids like. Being solid state also makes it quite rugged.

Good Laptop for My Needs
I needed a laptop with a decent battery life, and room for upgrade. Mostly for office work and media consumption. Web surfing needed, strong wifi, I wanted S mode for security. I wanted access to office.com for document use. I wanted decent audio too. The laptop I got provided all of that. The audio at 100 percent was adequate for media, but my Bluetooth speaker works better. I can still hear it fine without the Bluetooth. I charged the laptop to 100 percent and watched a series, I like, for three hours before it reached 50 percent. So, for media consumption at full brightness gave me plenty of battery. I think I could get a total of five- or six-hours watching movies. I charged it back up from 50 percent to 100 percent in two hours while I watched more series episodes. I keep the touch pad turned off all the time. I never use it, because I prefer a wireless mouse. The laptop is about the size of my 14-inch Chromebook. This laptop, however, is more powerful. So far, I am pleased with this purchase. This would not be suitable for gaming or video editing, but I use my desktop for those things. I recommend this laptop for the things I've mentioned and the low price. The laptop I bought has the following specs.

It's working well, with good battery life as I can't plug it in at college.
Bought this to take notes and do videos for a college course. It's working well, and lasts 2-3 classes (1/week) before I have to plug it in at home to recharge. All my old laptops were very old or cracked screen, so had to buy a new one as it was required for the class. It is doing well with all the documents and videos I have to use.

Great mid range laptop - if you upgrade the drive and RAM
Bought this for my wife - and as a computer I could use for my programming needs if my main machine were to ever fail. This computer is perfect for surfing the web, writing a book, doing basic home or mid level computing needs. I upgraded this computer with a 2T SDD (easy to do folks - take the screws off the bottom and carefully lift up the base and everything is exposed). JUST MAKE SURE you get the correct SDD for the slot (check online for what SDD connector is in this machine). By the way, you don't need the fastest card in the world for this thing. Even the lowest end SDD will work just fine in this thing. As for RAM, it really only needs another 4 to 8 gig of RAM and it'll be a slightly faster machine for you.
What usually slows these laptops down is the "memory paging" - if you can keep the computer from paging memory (aka "disk thrashing") you'll enjoy the computer much more.

This laptop is extremely user-friendly and has a smooth layout for productivity. The desktop wallpapers and the desktop themes are simplistic as well as eye-catching. All-in-all, with this laptop, everything seems to be more streamlined which helps me focus on my goals and daily tasks.

Great for the price
I purchased this as I needed a light simple laptop to take with me when I travel. I didnt need anything super fast or high dollar as I use my custom built desktop for that. I ordered this knowing it was able to be returned. I was surprised and very happy with what I got. Package was well packed. Simple. Laptop and charging cable. I charged it for a few hours and setup was a breeze. Computer is nice, light, and works well. The chrome OS is a little harder to setup and get where you want but its something you can GOOGLE!!

If there is ANYTHING I can gripe about it is this. The keyboard is in lower case and I doint like that. Thats it!!

better than a windows laptop...for me
purchased this chromebook in Sept. of last year. it came boxed with a notice inside saying they upgraded the resolution to a higher definition than originally suppose to have come with and boy did it show. I'm am a true believer in a chromebook. it's fast. easy to use and can do almost everything my hp windows laptop use to do. the upgrades are fast and it notifies you when upgrade is available and all one needs to do is press the restart button and that's it. I get my internet thru my lan line phone co. which also provides a top notch anitvirus. luv everything about this laptop.

So far so good!
I decided to purchase this laptop after my desktop computer was annihilated from a windows update. My desktop is currently up and running again although it's running slow, so I figured having a backup of some sort where I can access important documents and whatnot is smart in case of emergencies (i.e. work or school). It's hard to believe this is a refurbished laptop because it runs so smoothly. Definitely a worthy purchase so far!

great convenient and portable
really like this affordable refurbished guy. i take it every where with me instead of my 5 lb laptop. take it in the hot tub and in the pool really great. great key board great screen. maybe one less point for the track pad but still good. great internet. fast and ready to go as soon as you open the puppy up. 0 problems 1 week in knock on wood. gooooood.

Our first Chromebook
Wanted to replace a very old MacBook used for browsing while watching TV etc. Didn't need anything high end obviously. Just something to online shop, pay a few bills, and watch YouTube.

Purchased the Chromebook without a lot of research. Mostly price and reviews. After several months of use there aren't any negatives other than a dead pixel or two. Impressed with overall speed and ease of use.

The weight isn't so bad
I almost didn't buy this computer because of the complaints about the weight of it. I weighed it on my scale and the computer itself weighs 5.3 lbs. The charging cord has a 170W AC adapter on it and weighs about 1.2 lb. I don't know where the other pound in the stated weight is coming from.

Read if you’re into VR gaming
I got this laptop for video and photo editing, gaming, streaming etc…. I’ve played on it with my VR (oculus quest 2) and it does work, however it’s at its lowest performance. Eventually I’ll upgrade this laptop but it still works fine. Google Earth works really well. Only issue is there is a driver “advanced micro devices,inc - display - 31.0.12012.10” that’s not updating. Has an error code “ install error - 0x800f024b”. I’m not sure why it will not update but I ran a diagnostics and it says everything is working fine. If anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know

Great product!!
This product has surprised me very very well. With no upgrades I was able to run a multitude of very strenuous programs such as Photoshop, blender, open Iv. I also game on FiveM and this laptop again no upgrades added ran at 60-80 fps. Now fiveM is a custom modded gtav game. I am very happy with this product. Only upgrades I would suggest is a another 8gb stick of ram and installing a m.2 for the most optimized experience. I would give this product a 100/10!!!! I would buy it again!

Laptop
I love this laptop it boots up really fast...I play a video game called The Sims 4...I wanted to go from a regular laptop to a gaming laptop..the games boots up so fast I was amazed...I give this laptop 5 stars and recommend getting it if you need one weather it's for gaming or a regular replacement laptop....

Great work laptop!!
I don't play games, but I do tech work for immersive art exhibits. Payroll, scheduling, excel spreadsheets, etc. It keeps up with me and that is impressive enough. Great refresh rate and connects to wifi 6. I spent many hours researching different laptops save your time and just order this one! Ohhhh I love the back-lit keyboard! It's a must!!
